Cris spent the early part of his career building his video chops in the post houses of Los Angeles and was even trained and certified as a camera assistant at the Arriflex corporate offices in Burbank, CA. Cris then spent 12 years as Senior Video Engineer at Sony Pictures Digital Authoring Center.  At Sony he created the compressed video streams for thousands of DVD and Blu-ray titles for every major studio.  Some of these titles include Pixar's Cars, ABC's Lost, Academy Award® Winner Slumdog Millionaire, Collateral, District 9, Jerry Maguire, and many more.

Cris has now come full circle and transitioned back to set working as a camera assistant again and also works as a digital utility helping to backup and secure the RAW camera footage as well as creating on-set dailies for the DIT.

As a proud member of IATSE Local 600 International Cinematographers Guild, Cris is able to work on productions of any budget or size.  From TV series like Troubadour, TX and Bronco Roads, independent features like One Heart and Ghost of Goodnight Lane, to major brands like Taco Bueno, Frito-Lay, and Motorola, Cris has a wide variety of experience.
